GAPPED TOROIDS KEY

ID - Inside diameter
OD - Outside diameter
HT - Strip width or height
Gap - Specify either a mechanical gap or specify the AL value with tolerances
including ac voltage, dc current if applicable, number of turns, and
frequency.
Material and thickness requirements are the same as any standard toroidal
core.
Most gapped toroids are epoxy impregnated and can be gapped as small as .006",
then either fluidize bed coated "D" or black epoxy painted "M". We do offer "end
caps" as an alternative to the coating process, but quantities and tooling costs
to injection mold these caps must be a pre-quotation
consideration.
All gapped toroids are numbered in the 3000 series of part numbers - followed
by the coating letter designator - followed by the material code and thickness
such as 3304 and then the gap is indicated by the letter - G - followed by gap
size in three decimals. Example: 3221 D 3304 G. 032
Note: All electrical specifications for gapped toroids must be pre-quote evaluated
to determine if requirements can be met on a production basis.
